Seamless or welded stainless steel pipes
A stainless steel pipe is more than just a connector – it serves as a structural element, flow path, and protection system all in one. In industrial plants where corrosion resistance, pressure strength, and durability are essential, stainless steel pipes from WITTE TUBE + PIPE SYSTEMS provide the reliable foundation for complex piping systems.
Our portfolio includes a wide range of stainless steel tubes in various grades, wall thicknesses, and dimensions – specially designed to meet the industrial requirements of the chemical, energy, food, and process industries.
Stainless steel pipes with a certificate
Our high-quality stainless steel pipes are certified according to EN 10204 and DIN/EN and comply with the VdTÜV material sheets or also according to ASME. All standard approval test certificates are part of our delivery standard. In addition, further tests can be carried out and certified by us according to individual order specifications – also on short notice.

Stainless Steel Pipe Dimensions: What Sizes Are Available?
SS pipes are available in numerous standard sizes. In our warehouse, we stock some of the most in-demand dimensions, such as:
● 20 mm stainless steel pipe
● 22 mm stainless steel pipe
● 42 mm stainless steel pipe
● 50 mm stainless steel pipe
● 70 mm stainless steel pipe
● 100 mm stainless steel pipe
These sizes cover a wide range of applications – from precision piping to high-pressure structural systems.
According to our stainless steel pipe dimension table, outside diameters range from 6 mm to over 900 mm, with wall thicknesses from 1.24 mm to more than 50 mm, depending on the standard, schedule, and material grade.
How Is a Stainless Steel Pipe Measured?
A stainless steel pipe is typically defined by its outside diameter (OD) and wall thickness (T). These measurements determine not only the flow capacity but also the pressure resistance of the pipe.
Example:
A 50 mm stainless steel pipe has an actual OD of 60.3 mm. Depending on the wall thickness – e.g. 2.77 mm (Schedule 10) or 5.54 mm (Schedule 80) – the weight and mechanical strength of the pipe vary accordingly.
Pipe dimensions conform to international standards such as:
● DIN EN ISO 1127
● ASME B36.19 / B36.10
● With additional specifications per EN 10216-5 (seamless) and EN 10217-7 (welded)
Types of Stainless Steel Pipes
We supply two main types of industrial stainless steel tubing:
Seamless Stainless Steel Pipes
● Highest resistance to pressure and temperature
● Ideal for aggressive media, vacuum applications, and safety-critical areas
● According to EN 10216-5 TC1/TC2, ASTM A312, A790, A789
Stainless Steel Welded Tubes
● Cost-effective and dimensionally stable
● Consistent quality for medium-duty applications
● According to EN 10217-7, ASTM A312, A928, A358
We also offer:
● Thick-walled stainless steel tubing for high-pressure pipelines (e.g. up to 13.65 mm wall thickness at Ø 60.3 mm – Schedule 160)
● Heat-resistant stainless steel tubes made from special alloys for high-temperature environments, such as power plants or industrial furnaces
Material Grades for Every Requirement
In addition to standard grades, we supply premium special stainless steels including:
| Material | Designation | Type |
| 1.4547 | 254SMO (S31254) | Austenitic, highly corrosion-resistant |
| 1.4539 | 904L | Austenitic, corrosion-resistant |
| 1.4462 | Duplex (S31803) | Austenitic-ferritic |
| 1.4410 | Super Duplex (S32750) | Extremely durable |
