Corrosion-resistant, austenitic ferritic super-duplex steel
The material S32750 is a corrosion-resistant, austenitic ferritic type of super-duplex steel. It is particularly suitable for applications requiring a high resistance and strength – in particular when conventional corrosion-resistant duplex steels no longer meet the corrosion demands.
Special stainless steel
The steel is characterised by the following properties:
- Excellent resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion, PREN = ≥38
- Higher strength than conventional austenitic stainless steels
- Good weldability
- High resistance to general corrosion
- High resistance to acidic solutions
- High resistance to stress corrosion
SUPER-DUPLEX applications
- Chemical industry
- Petrochemical industry
- Pulp / Paper industry
- Sea and seawater plants
- Flue gas systems
- Shipbuilding / Offshore
